Summary: Peter is a young boy who is about to become a big brother! In the beginning, Peter is envious of his unborn sister when he finds his parents taking away his old furniture and painting them pink. He doesn't want HIS chair painted pink simply because HIS chair and doesn't think that its fair.  Peter finds a tiny chair in his house that his parents haven't reclaimed for his sister so he sneaks away to his room with it only to find out that he doesn't fit in the chair anymore! Peter comes to his own conclusion at the end of the book that he is excited to have a baby sister and that being able to sit in a "grown-up" chair is even more rewarding.
